CARERS "NEEDS & ASPIRATIONS" PROJECT

Welcome to the "Needs & Aspirations" project.

DO YOU CARE FOR A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND?

WOULD YOU LIKE SOME TIME TO YOURSELF AWAY FROM YOUR CARING ROLE?

THERE'S LOADS OF CHOICES AND IT MAY BE A CHANCE FOR YOU TO TRY SOMETHING NEW. ENJOY!

Everyone is aware of the vital contribution that informal carers make and it is because of this that Northamptonshire County Council have agreed funding for this project. It is an opportunity for carers to access a wide range of choices to enjoy whether it be for a half day session or over a period of weeks.

Two directories are produced annually containing choices to support your caring role, learn a new skill or enjoy some time to relax.

Options have included:

- Yoga,Tai Chi,Pilates ,Aromatherapy & Relaxation Techniques

- Computer courses, Family History, Digital Photography, Facebook, Ebay

- First Aid, Challenging Behaviour, Moving & Handling

- Painting, Jewellery Making, Hanging Baskets, Salsa dancing & Stress Free Cooking
